This morning’s message had everything - speculation on biblical roof building materials, a short refresher course on 80’s slang, and most importantly, some insight into those amazing things that we call miracles, and God calls ‘easy stuff’.
Couple of great messages on the audio page, about wisdom. Yes, you really can find examples of wisdom on the Internet!
Anzac Day is on Wednesday, and we’ll be heading down to the Jetty foreshores for a BBQ. So if you’re down at the Jetty and you see us there (we’ll be the big friendly group with the smiling faces) come on over and say g’day.
Just a reminder about our Easter services - 7pm on Friday night, and 10am on Sunday.
If you’re an early riser, we’re also having a dawn service at Hills Beach at 6am Sunday. If you’re more of a night person, well, come along anyway - getting up early on Easter Sunday makes you feel a whole lot better about having chocolate for breakfast.
Also, there’s another great message on the audio page for you to download, this one about the parable of the man scattering seed (the original type of podcasting).
Just a heads up that BlueCross is, of course, planning something big for Easter.
With our giant Easter Bunny Robot failing to get approval (the egg cannon was just too powerful), we’ve decided on a couple of extra-special services.
Come along on Good Friday evening at 7pm, and Easter Sunday morning at 10am. We’ve got some great stuff planned for all ages, so we look forward to seeing you there.
If you can hold out for a few days, don’t wash your car this week.
Wait until Sunday, 4th March and bring it to BlueCross where our youth group, Grit, will wash it for you, for just $5. This is a fundraiser for Burst, the CLA BlueCross Youth Camp on the June long weekend.
In the meantime, try to park underneath flocks of pigeons.
