40 Days of Community
It’s almost here, with next week the official kick-off of our 40 Days of Community Campaign.
Today’s message was a great encouragement to take up the ‘aarfensive’ with prayer.

The fishing trophy finally went off yesterday as the men hit the beach for the BlueCross Fishing Classic™
There were some good attempts but Rowan took out the prize with a bream.
A stingray also caught a good sized Paul.
Christmas in July
People visiting BlueCross for the first time this morning might have thought we were incredibly lazy for leaving up our Christmas decorations this long, but in fact our festively adorned hall was for the ladies’ Christmas in July dinner last night. So there.
There was a great turnout for the traditional Christmas feast, and over $400 was raised toward the children’s gym equipment.
Speaking of Christmas…
BlueCross will be taking part again with this year’s Operation Christmas Child.
This program helps to make Christmas day unforgettable for thousands of children and families around the world who are in need, by delivering each child a shoebox filled with toys and other gifts.
