9.5 on the Awsometer
Celebration Sunday was a huge success - everyone did a great job, everyone had a great time, and everyone resisted the great urge to do that helium balloon voice trick.
BlueCross was in party mode on Sunday to celebrate everything that’s been happening here through the 40 Days of Community.
Kirsty and Paul brought us two beautiful songs each which summed up the whole campaign perfectly.
Then with the good singing out of the way, it was time for our our drama group’s comedy item, The Ballad of the Good Samarian.
Each home group told us what they’ve been up to, and we heard updates on Operation Christmas Child, child sponsorship and other projects.
We saw the BlueCross Blitz team in action up on the big screen, and the guys from Grit filled us in on their Friday night antics.
Of course, you can’t have a party without food, and oh yes, there was food.
Thanks to everyone who came and helped us celebrate on Sunday - we hope you enjoyed it as much as we did.
